The Hall of the Protomoteca at 'Palazzo del Campidoglio'. Created in the early 19th century its intention was to remember Italians -- such as Leonardo da Vinci, Dante, Petrarch, Michelangelo and many others -- who had brought honor to Italy down through the ages.
